چکیده
The accurate quantitative maturity detection of fresh Lycium barbarum L. (L. barbarum) fruit is the key to determine whether are suitable for harvesting or not and can also be helpful improve quality post-harvest processing. To achieve this goal, abnormal samples were eliminated by Mahalanobis Distance (MD), nine components (i.e., R, G, B, H, S, V, L, a, b) ripe fruit, half-ripe unripe extracted, firstly. Then, significant component combinations three fruits beneficial extraction their areas determined. Through binary processing, morphology other image processing methods, a model was established based on support vector machine (SVM) model. On basis, field experiments conducted verify compare relationship between prediction results picking forces fruit. Field showed that accuracies both training set 100% consistent with Findings provided theoretical basis

Identification and characterization of miRNAs in ripening fruit of Lycium barbarum L. using high-throughput sequencing
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are master regulators of gene activity documented to play central roles in fruit ripening in model plant species, yet little is known of their roles in Lycium barbarum L. fruits. In this study, miRNA levels in L. barbarum fruit samples at four developmental stages, were assayed using Illumina HiSeqTM2000. This revealed the presence of 50 novel miRNAs and 38 known miRNAs in L....
متن کاملChanges in sugars and organic acids in wolfberry (Lycium barbarum L.) fruit during development and maturation.
Wolfberry (Lycium barbarum L.) fruits of three cultivars ('Damaye', 'Baihua' and 'Ningqi No.1') were harvested at five different ripening stages and evaluated for sugars and organic acids. Fructose, glucose and total sugar contents increased continually through development and reached their maxima at 34 days after full bloom (DAF). Fructose and glucose were the predominant sugars at maturity, w...
متن کاملPolyphenolic content, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Lycium barbarum L. and Lycium chinense Mill. leaves.
This study was performed to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant and antimicrobial activities and the polyphenolic content of Lycium barbarum L. and L. chinense Mill. leaves. The different leave extracts contain important amounts of flavonoids (43.73 ± 1.43 and 61.65 ± 0.95 mg/g, respectively) and showed relevant antioxidant activity, as witnessed by the quoted methods. Qualitative and quantitativ...
متن کاملQuality control of Lycium chinense and Lycium barbarum cortex (Digupi) by HPLC using kukoamines as markers
BACKGROUND Lycii Cortex (LyC), composed of Lycium chinense and Lycium barbarum cortex and having the Chinese name Digupi, is used to treat chronic diseases like cough, hypertension, and diabetes in Eastern Asia. However, chromatographic methods, such as TLC and HPLC, to determine the phytochemical composition of LyC have not been included in any official compendiums. This study aims to establis...
متن کاملCharacterization of the Lycium barbarum fruit transcriptome and development of EST-SSR markers
Lycium barbarum, commonly known as goji, is important in Chinese herbal medicine and its fruit is a very important agricultural and biological product. However, the molecular mechanism of formation of its fruit and associated medicinal and nutritional components is unexplored. Moreover, this species lacks SSR markers due to lack of genomic and transcriptomic information. In this study, a total ...
